This is where you can learn all about clean eating!

My philosophy on food is to eat when you are hungry. I don’t starve myself, but am smart about what I eat. First, drink lots of water. I found that often when I feel hungry, I’m actually just thirsty.  Water is key to fitness, so put down the soda and energy drinks. I know its tough- I was a soda addict for a long long time. But, you can give it up, trust me. If you can’t do just water, try adding some fresh fruit or veggies to give it a little kick! Lemon, strawberries, cucumbers or mint is a great starting point!

Next, the source of food you use each day.  I don’t like eating medicine and pesticides, so I work to find organic fruits and veggies, use GMO free snacks and use organic free range when eating eggs or chicken. I also stay away from oils and butter, bread that isn’t organic and sugar, unless its in a recovery drink or protein bar.

Lastly, coffee. I love it.  Life is boring without it.  I buy local organic beans, grind fresh daily, and brew with a Chemex or french press.  When you drink good coffee, you don’t need to cover it up with fat and sugar!
